New Dawn Farm, LLC is a multi-species farm started in 2023 by Joe & Rhonda Goss. After an abrupt end to a 30+ year career in the paper industry, we decided to follow our passion and start ‘Growing Health’ full time. We relocated to the beautiful Ouachita Mountains in western Arkansas and bought an 89-acre farm just outside of Cove in Polk County. After experiencing an improvement in our own health and reversing health issues through food, we are focused on raising animals and plants in ways that provide healthy food options to our community while also raising/growing them in a way that is natural and helps improve the ecosystem at our farm.
The values we use to guide our farming practices are:
Provide locally grown, nutrient dense, great tasting food for those seeking to improve their health and reverse the damage that mass production of food has done to their bodies.
Grow healthy, great tasting food (nutrient dense, w/o genetic modifications, pesticides, hormones, chemical fertilizers, etc.)
Improve soil on the farm so it holds more water, produces better plants, requires fewer inputs, and helps sequester more carbon.
Have a symbiotic relationship between animals, plants, and wildlife.
Be transparent in our farming practices; encouraging everyone to ‘know their farmer’ and to come visit our farm.
